CHAPTER X. MY THIRD SEMESTER AT KIU
MY THIRD SEMESTER AT KIU In early July I reported for my third semester of study at Kampala International University (KIU), it was such a very fruitful period full of academics, leadership and community- based activities. We started with the cancer awareness run, sensitizing the public on how to avoid and prevent cancer as KIU was launching the first private cancer institute in Uganda. There were also some community outreach activities to our nearby market center and the streets where we did some cleaning to promote awareness about keeping a clean environment, I fully and actively participated in these activities since I am so passionate about promoting public awareness and saving the population at risk of such life-threatening conditions.
